Day 95: Farmers markets! I love living where I do. We have access to so much fresh, locally produced food. It's so neat to buy produce from the people who actually produce it. It feels fantastic to support one's friends and neighbours too. Our local farmers market is open all year 'round, and you can buy anything from locally caught fish, free range eggs and chickens, breads, baking and pies, local beef and bacon (!!!!!!), crafts and books, to delicious delicious Indian cuisine and biscotti. I hadn't made it there in weeks, and once I realized that I was down to my last five happy days, I figured I'd better get my rear in gear and get down there. I'm always so happy when I do. Now I have a beautiful little chicken to roast tomorrow so I'll have lunch meat all week long. #100happydays
