Day 85: The other day I was musing with some Friends about what I would do if I won the lottery. Another Friend walked by and soundly put me in my place by correcting me and saying: "You mean if you won the lottery again. You already live in Canada." The quote isn't verbatim, but I won't soon forget his meaning, and he was absolutely right. How lucky are we to live in this wonderful nation? I am a proud and patriotic Canadian, if I'm anything at all. Today's events saddened me immensely. Such violence, and at that particular monument as well. My heart goes out to the family of Cpl.
