Day 79

Day 79: I can't believe it has taken me nearly 80 days to post this happy: the city of Owen Sound. Living here makes me so very happy. It's a wonderful place to make one's home. I came here nearly five years ago for the job figuring I'd stay maybe a year to get my time in so I could transfer back to the big campus. Well, I gotta say it would take a lot to get me to move now. How lucky am I to be able to live and work in what I would argue is some of the loveliest area in this province? And it's not just scenic either: people are passionate about this place. Tonight I attended an all-candidates meeting for our upcoming municipal election and I was positively inspired. I can't wait to see what this new council will do for our city. Today, my adopted hometown of Owen Sound is my happy. #luckyhotdog #100happydays
