Day 56

Day 56: For yesterday. Late again. My happy for yesterday was all about a lovely little dinner party I had at Lovely House. The food was second only to the company (and the food was pretty dang fantastic!). Pictured here is what remains of quite possibly the tastiest pumpkin pie I have ever eaten, made by my good friend Judith. It came from a pumpkin that she and her partner Marilyn grew themselves, and then transformed into this beautiful pie with a spelt crust. Oh, delicious. It made me not dread the upcoming winter quite as much, realizing that good, cozy food like this was soon in store. This pie, and the people I consumed it with, were my happy for yesterday. #100happydays
