Day 83

Day 83: CURLING! I have the biggest, most ridiculous smile on my face right now. I just got back from my first foray into curling (with the exception of that one day thing we did in grade 7) and, though I'm a little sore, the happy FAR outweighs the pain. Who would have thought that tossing big rocks down a sheet of ice and sweeping while not seeing a visual benefit of making the surface cleaner could be so much fun! I have a lot of learning to do, and some better shoes to invest in, but boy oh boy it was great. The only minutely sad part I feel about this experience is how I wish I could call Grammy P and tell her all about it...I think she would just love it. I like to imagine she's excited for me all the same and I can't wait to bust out Gumpo's curling sweater. Oh, that's happening. Wait for it. #100happydays
