Day 67: This room. These shelves. When I like something, when I *really* like something, I can get rather fixated. My older brother would say "obsessed" and...well, I don't really disagree. When I am into something I generally want to research and find out as much as possible about it, I want to have tokens and trinkets to represent it, and, if possible, see it and experience it in real life. I've had many "obsessions" over the years, and somewhat unintentionally have most of them represented on the shelves in this room. A friend of mine refers to this as my "happy" room (if you really wanted to get a snapshot about me, a quick look at these shelves would paint a pretty good picture). I've been doing a lot of soul searching and self-discovery since the summer, and have observed that it can be very soothing to retreat to familiar comforts. I've "rediscovered" latent interests and remembered how fun they used to be. Sometime during the remaining Happy Days I plan to recount some of these "obsessions" and share why they meant so much to me, or why they still impact me. But for today, this room and these shelves are my happy. #100happydays
