Day 68: When I left Timmins for university I moved to a city where I knew almost no one. My brother and cousin lived there, but we didn't get to see one another every day. I lived in residence, as many kids do when they first "launch" (I would recommend it to just about everyone). In res you get a chance to really immerse yourself in the "college culture", and I was so unbelievably lucky to choose the res I did as that year I met some the best people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. These Ladies, my Annesley Ladies, have become family to me. Though different life paths have separated us geographically we do a pretty fair job of staying connected via Facebook, Instagram, or the occasional in-person visit. Today I was treated to one of those lovely rarities. Though we lived on different floors, this particular Friend has been adopted as an honorary "Lower" girl. I'm fortunate that my territory for work includes the town where she and her beautiful family lives, and I was treated to a gorgeous lunch of homemade soup, bread, and warm pumpkin cookies. It was a very short visit between appointments, but so nice to reconnect. And I ask you: is there anything nicer than a beautiful babe falling asleep in your arms? Thanks for the great lunch break, Friend. See you again soon. #100happydays
