Day 186

Day 186: Music has always been a big thing for me: playing it, singing it, listening to it, watching it happen...since Thursday its been on the forefront of my mind even more. Aside from the amazing surprise, on Thursday I was gifted with music (both Drew's song and the Summerfolk pass) by "people who love me". Those people have got to know how much I love music. In my little house, since the first day I saw it, I wanted to turn my treadmill room off the main living room into a music room/library. I have a piano up in Timmins that I'll get down here someday and get it all fixed up and tuned properly, but for today I thought I'd start with what I have. I've had this old record player for 10 years and have never, ever used it. I saved Gumpo's reel to reel and records from Value Village when we cleaned out the house this summer. It's time. It's time to start the transformation. So far nothing works lol. I'm in need of an "audiophile" or some kind of a music engineer to tell me what I need to do to get these things running (I know they both do run) but for now it's kinda nice knowing that I'm at least started on my way. Today, my "music room" made me happy. #LovelyHouse #365happydays
