Day 206: Grammy P wasn't Catholic but she always "observed" Lent. She usually gave up desserts for the 40 days...except on holidays. Or if it was someone's birthday. Or if someone came to visit. Etc etc etc. Oh, how she made me laugh. I don't observe Lent, but someone was talking to me about it tonight and it made me think of her and her little ritual.
